Lovely, family-run trattoria. There's a neat but not overwhelming selection of dishes from classic staples like gnocchi Sorrentina or Parmigiana to rarer recipes like Genovese Di Tonno. I went with a mixed seafood starter (€18) and the aforementioned Parmigiana (€7). While parmigiana was very much tasty, with a neat crust developed and tender aubergines, it was the plentiful mixed starter that was the real showstopper. It once again combined well-known and beloved flavours (in this case, octopus salad) with more novel inventions like prawns in carrots or seafood take on a caponata. The five different samplers that were provided were not bitesize portions either, so I easily imagine a person can be satisfied just with such an appetiser. So expect rather larger portions of food that is either good, very good or exceptional (as was the case for some of the appetisers).
There's also a succinct but interesting selection of local wines available, as well as other drinks at good prices (water for €2, espresso for a single euro). The fact that terrace seating provides an enchanting vista only adds to the experience. Definitely...

Read moreMy husband and I came to this family owned restaurant on our second night in Vietri, and wished we had on our first because we also dined here for our third (and last dinner) in Vietri. The food is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. You would want to try each dish during your time there! We really enjoyed the calamari, spaghetti with seafood, gnnochi, and eggplant parmigiana. The family (cooks and servers) are kind and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Our server, unfortunately do not know his name, even gave us some suggestions for a beach trip and lunch, which were both great. Call ahead and they will reserve you a spot, do not miss this place! Grazia for the...
