We are in the area for the Monza grand prix, so after a long day of travel we just wanted a great meal to unwind from the day, ready for an early start in the morning. The service here was exceptional; all of the waiters were friendly, and our waiter guided us with what to order, and he is excellent at his job because we all felt really satisfied but not over full. The food is stunning; I am not a huge fan of fish but my husband and son are, so I just went along with choices that we could all share. Lovely Italian restaurant with the classics like pizza, pasta, and meats, but the focus here is FRESH seafood. Very busy local restaurant, place was full! From sea urchins, octopus, prawns, and fresh whole fish, they have it all and incredibly delicious. The price for what you are getting is also VERY fair. Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di pranzare al rinomato ristorante Al Vesuvio Sesto dal 1969 di Filippo, e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata eccezionale sotto ogni punto di vista. Il menù propone una vasta gamma di piatti di carne e di pesce, ma è stato il crudo di mare a rubare la scena. Freschissimo e sapientemente preparato, ogni boccone era un'esplosione di sapori del Mediterraneo.
