Great place to eat the signature katsudon from Aizu. It isn’t that big so I recommend arriving early if you don’t want to wait much. We arrived only five minutes after opening (because we were coming from somewhere else) and could go straight in. It is run by an old couple that take care of its business seriously. I had the hire katsu which was good, but got to try the standard katsu and felt it was better.

It’s a small local restaurant (about 10 seaters), run by an old couples. There isn’t English menu but you can order via showing a photo from google review or translate the menu. We accidentally found the place from google rating, decided to go there on the first place because it’s just opposite the hotel but the food is so good then we went again on next day. Very yummy tonkatsu / katsudong.

Cozy restaurant near hotel . You just follow the smell it is really good. The restaurant is not big and runs by 2 people. I love the Katsudon. Ramen, the noodle is so tender good for cold weather and soup is not too salty. And the price is soooo good. You can see how much they love their job by the taste and service. Strongly recommend!

Having a really tasty fried pork rice (katsudon) in a very local, traditional restaurant is such an enjoyable experience to me. The set price is economical and even they got several dishes other than just the don itself. The don is so tasty that you would like to keep eating and eating. Highly recommend.

A small restaurant run by an elderly couple. Accomodates upto 8, maybe 10 people you include the counter space. Ordered the Katsudon without rice (they kindly obliged), every bite was juicy and delicious. Maybe get yours with rice since the sauce is pretty strong. However, I enjoyed it very much.

We were welcomed with a hot cup of tea, perfect for the cold. We ordered stewed katsudon (950円) and it was incredibly comforting! They gave us miso soup, fried tofu and pickled vegetables aswell. The owners were very sweet and kind!
