The seafood was fresh and delicious! The staff were friendly and tried their best to explain things to us despite our lack of proficiency in Japanese. They brought some of the things we ordered (clams, scallop, conch shells) fresh out of the water to show us before heading back to the kitchen and popping them on the grill. This place has a bit of a roadside restaurant vibe, so you’re really paying for the fresh seafood and not the ambience, but I quite enjoyed watching the cars drive by and the atmosphere of the restaurant. It reminded me of travelling abroad and being in South East Asia! Some parts of the shellfish were very gritty, but really, that’s to be expected...
