Atami Ferry Pier — Local services in Atami

Your average place so not much to write about. It's a bit old and even with only about 25 people inside it was pretty full and there were no available seats. It had a toilet, a couple of beverage vending machines and a place to buy local snacks. The taxi stand and bus stops are right out front so that's a plus. The ferry ride is about 30 minutes to Hatsushima and costs about 2400 yen round trip. Not sure about the ferry to Oshima as I did not take that one. It may sound like a duh! type of thing but keep the ticket if you buy a round trip one. You only show it when getting on the ferry in Atami but give it to the person collecting when you arrive back in Atami. 2024年1月　東海汽船で大島へ、富士急マリンリゾートで初島へ渡れます。 今回初島宿泊で利用。 熱海駅バス停7番乗り場から熱海後楽園行き路線バス15分280円で熱海港へ。(6番乗り場　網代旭町行きでも行けるみたい) バスを降りたら直ぐ待合所で、売店、トイレ、コインロッカー、船のチケット売場、エクシブ初島のチェックインカウンターが有りました。利用者が多い割に椅子が少ない気がします。

初島行きチケットは片道販売は無く、往復券のみで大人2800円。乗船時間は30分位。熱海港乗船時にチケットにスタンプを押してくれて、連泊したけど帰りの熱海港下船時に回収でした。 1日10便で1/5から船の定期検査で7便に減りましたが、今回のイルドバカンスプレミアは定員605人乗れるので問題無しでした。

家族が券売機の長い列に並んでいる間に、エクシブ受付カウンターでチェックイン。ここでルームナンバー、食事時間等が確認でき、ホテルではカードキーを受け取るのみで便利です。

初島連絡船は2F部分から乗船。船内にはエレベーター、トイレ、ジュース自販機が有りました。2Fは固い個別の椅子。1Fはゆったり柔らかいソファー椅子。B1は窓の無い、靴を脱いでくつろげる絨毯の部屋でした。 船の屋上デッキでは出港前からカモメがかっぱえびせんを食べに来ます。船内ではかっぱえびせんの販売は無く、初島漁協スーパーでは売っていたので、乗船前に用意するのをお勧めします。熱海港売店でも売っているのかな？ 船のチケットは、PICA初島利用者のセット券も有ったみたいです。
