The worst customer service in Japan, for sure. The manager is rude and racist. They treat their customers like criminals.
When we went in, they were serving a breakfast buffet, which was very different from what we had the night before. That was fine—our kids were hungry, and we didn’t mind trying it. However, I couldn’t understand the manager, and he didn’t make any effort to explain.
I stepped outside to get the kids from the car. We didn’t realize that the breakfast buffet time had already ended because the sign was still up. We got our tickets and went to get food. Suddenly, the manager came in and started yelling at me, saying, “NO NO NO” in front of everyone without any explanation. He told me the buffet was closed. I told him I didn’t know, but my kids were already seated and eating. He then said I had to pay first.
I went to pay and told him I simply didn’t notice the time and didn’t understand the situation, but that didn’t give him the right to yell at me and be rude. His attitude was extremely disrespectful. He claimed he had tried to explain, but in reality, all he did was yell at me.
I cried after explaining myself to him, but he still treated me rudely just because I’m a foreigner. I told him I wanted to speak to a manager about the situation. He said, “I am the manager.” I then said I wanted to call the corporate office because he had insulted me in an unacceptable way. He replied, “It’s on the receipt,” but again, he never gave me one. He kept trying to make it seem like everything was my fault.
In the end, we left without eating because the restaurant clearly did not welcome us, even though we had...

Anyway, despite slight disappointment, our hungry gaijin selves decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good! Menu is extensive, something for everyone, lots of fresh veggie and salad options! Kids got spaghetti and pizza and cleaned their plates which is a win in our books. Easy and convenient ordering through a tablet at your table. All you can eat rice/soup/drink options with your meals. Very affordable! A silly mistake ended up with us finding a new restaurant we...
Read moreCoco’s family restaurant is always a great place for a nice sit down meal with plenty of choices to choose from. The menu changes by season and to include desserts. The food has always been well made and service is quick and accurate. There are times when the server will forget something that is not usual with the food such as the add on toy/magnet with the children’s meal. However, it has never been a problem asking for the missing item. The staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended and great for family outings or taking the kids to dinner! Photos/videos attached are the current season dessert and the special Yu-Gi-Oh...
