1st course Tofu in light soy sauce with roast corn kennel....... tangy. Kick start your appetite.
2nd course - 5 elements of appetizer Whole plum in lightly vinegarette ..... is the best out of these 5 elements. It's very refreshing, especially in hot summer.
Squid in light Wasabi and green onion
Cold chicken nugget with sweet dried sardine ..... I don't know how to appreciate this chicken nugget. I will take Macdonald nugget over this any day.
Salty kelp with bread - kelp is too salty, and bread is just basic that seems odd in this set of meals when everything is so fancy.
Crunchy edamamae - the thin crust is flavorful, which is in contrast to the natural taste of edamamae.
3rd course Cold veg soup with skinless tomato, okra (inside is clean with no slimy), eggplant, is soothing. I am surprised that the combination of these 3 vegetables can create such wonderful soup.
4th course - tabletop grill A4 wagyu beef Beef is awesome. I mean heavenly greatness. There is so much beef flavor and intensified by open fire grill burning. Dipped into Wasabi type sauce with a little bit of soy sauce just awesome. Grill the vegetables in the beef oil ..... smell and taste so good. The room is filled with this aroma. They also provided an aprin so the sizzling oil won't dirty your clothes.
5th course - Deep fried tofu and prawns mixture ball in light miso soup with a little spicy ginger on top Perfectly deep fried, and it is a bit chewy texture.
6th course - 3 pieces of bbq eel with seaweed Regular unagi ...... ok, normal, but nothing outstanding.
7th course - summer vegetables puree on a bed of rice with pickled eggplant. The vegetable puree is refreshing and with a bit of slimy texture (just a little bit). The color of the puree is bright green, and it excites your appetite before your tongue ever touches it. The pickled eggplant is sweet rather than salty. To end the meal, there is a bowl of hot miso soup. So how this hot miso soup gave me the peacefulness after an exciting, heart beating meal.
8th course - Dessert. edamamae sauce over red bean paste with a piece glass jelly. I don't eat dessert in general due to health concerns, but I finish it all because it is so yummy. With a cup of hot oolong tea, it completed the perfect meal.
