What a hidden gem! We stumbled upon this cozy udon restaurant while exploring the area, and it turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. We were foreigners and despite our limited Japanese, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even offering to try explain in simple English and helpful gestures to guide us through the recommended choices.
The udon was absolutely outstandingโfreshly made, perfectly chewy noodles in a rich, flavorful broth that felt both comforting and refined. I was blown away too by how light and crispy the tempura was. Every element of the dish was clearly made with care and attention to detail.
Although small with indoor seating capacity of 8, the restaurant itself was clean, charming, and full of character. It had that homey, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Prices were very reasonable given the quality, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming.
Overall, this place was a delightful surprise, and we left with full stomachs and big smiles. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming udon...
