Baka-to-Aho Haruyoshi — Restaurant in Fukuoka

This little Yakiniku gem tucked away in a unsuspecting alleyway is the place to go if you want cheap wagyu. I came across this place trying to find an all you can eat yakiniku and boy was I glad I did. This place offers coals so it adds that extra bit of flavour that elevates the wagyu beef to a whole new level.

We ordered a bunch of meat (wagyu and pork), sides and drinks and it came under 14k yen for 3 people. What a steal! Guaranteed melt in your mouth goodness. Wouls come here again next time...

This place might not look upscale and fancy, but the food tastes HEAVENLY! The marinated yakiniku in soy sauce with minced onion was simply delicious. Although I typically don't leave reviews, I couldn't help but praise this place. The owner reminds me of an MMA fighter, and the slightly intimidating appearance gave me pause bringing my family here. However, after being treated to delicious food and friendly service, I realized I was completely wrong. The owner even walked us out and bowed goodbye. I'm definitely visiting this place again next time I'm in Fukuoka. I definitely recommend this place, but on the other hand, I'm worried that if this place gets too famous, I won't get a table next time I visit ;)

좀 외진구석에있고 겉보기엔 허름하고 별것아닌것같아 보이지만 진흙속에 진주를 찾은듯한 맛집이었습니다. 특히 간장에 쟁여서 다진양파와 숙성시킨 야키니쿠 완전 맛있었습니다. 후쿠오카가 우설이 유명하다지만 저희 가족은 징그러운걸 잘못먹어서 우설은 어땠을지 모르겠네요.. 사장님이 남자답게 잘생긴 격투기선수같이 생겼습니다. 처음엔 여길 가족을데리고 가는게 맞나 주저했지만 음식을 먹고나서 찐 맛집이라는걸 알았습니다. 사장님이 바쁘신데도 한국메뉴도 주시고 신경써주시려는 모습 고마웠습니다. 저와 아들은 더 먹고싶었는데 화로 연기가 가게에 가득차서 와이프가 눈이 매워해서 부득이하게 나왔습니다ㅠㅠ 사장님이 바쁘신데도 밖에까지 나와서 인사해주시고 박하사탕까지 챙겨주셔서 저희 가족이 후쿠오카 놀러오길 잘했다고 하며 기분좋게 먹고 나왔습니다. 다음에 후쿠오카가면 꼭 다시 갈 맛집으로 저장했습니다. 가게가 유명해지면 줄서서 먹어야되는 집이될까봐 나만 아는 맛집이었으면 좋겠네요 ㅎㅎ 사장님은 저와 생각이 다르시겠지만. 어째튼 찐...

On our last night at Fukuoka we found this restaurant closed to our hotel. This is very surprising Yakiniku we ever had. Beef burning on the traditional fire stove is very tasty. Many choices of beef you can have especially the square sliced beef that we love the most. The owner is quite friendly and staff service mind are very good.

We will visit you again if we have a chance to go...
