Canal City Theater — Attraction in Fukuoka

Basically situated in the stretch of mall spanning along the canal bank, thus the name canal city (mall) and canal city theater I guess. The main attraction at the moment is the light show at the fountain water feature next to the theater. Curtains/drapes in the theater restaurants would serve as screens, and the water features and lights are manipulated to create an amazing water-refracted light show. Evening lights and fountain display is worth going to experience, and see. The hotel drapes act as the movie backdrop. Very entertaining. Have 10mins, small child need something to occupy then why not go to the evening light...

ケラリーノ・サンドロヴィッチ演出、チェーホフの『桜の園』天海祐希さん主演の舞台を拝見しました。前々からケラさん(私の印象は、やはり有頂天の人なのだけれど、もともと演劇人でもあられるのよね…😆）の舞台は一度観たいと思っておりなかなか機会に恵まれずにおりましたが、ようやく拝見できました。それも舞台の代名詞の一つとも言える『桜の園』（私、初見ですが😅）で観れるなんて、嬉しい限り。15分ほどの幕間を挟んで約3時間、さして抑揚のない物語(可笑しくて、やがて哀しき的な喜劇のお手本なのかな…)を芸達者な豪華俳優陣が丁寧・緻密、時に大胆に演じられておりました。 こう言うどっちかと言うと静かな演劇の場合、カーテンコールでスタンディングオベーションとか“ゆりちゃーん”とかの掛け声なんか、あるの…無いの…どっち？、と思ってるうちに何もなしに終わっちゃいました。やっときゃ良かったかな😅 今更ながら、ブラボー👍 生 荒川良々・生...
