Legatio Hakata Hotel — Hotel in Fukuoka

On referring to the house manual, the instructions on how to use the dryer facility of the washing machine were misleading because it turns out that there is no dryer function in the washing machine! Why, therefore, include such instructions? In addition, the staff said to let them know if they could help further, so I asked for an additional drying rack on which to hang my wet clothes to dry. This was subsequently refused. Why offer to help if you are then not going to help?

When trying to use the gas hob on the third day it stopped working. The batteries to light the gas needing replacing apparently. Is it my job to call out these faults to the hotel staff? In addition, one of the bedside lights stopped working and I was asked to ‘send a photo to the staff’? How is this supposed to help? Again, they could have just checked it themselves.

Finally, the hotel is located a long walk (15+ mins) from bus, train or underground stations. It’s not easy to get to.

This was just a bad hotel experience all round and really...

A comfortable apart-hotel room of good size with kitchen facilities (hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine). Separate wc, (small) bath/shower. Nice that liquid soaps and shampoos and towels were provided, as well as crockery and cutlery (but surprisingly no chopsticks). Central location, about 20 minutes walk from Tenjin (downtown/shopping area), Yakata Station for airport, Yakuin train station for day trip to Dazaifu and Tenzin bus station for Nagasaki. Many convenience stores nearby. Ideal for our 3 night stay for 3 adults.

It was strange that we never saw any staff and our door codes were provided by email or digital check-in in the hotel, but this probably keeps...

The beds were horrific. I could touch the springs and the wire around the edge of the bed cuts on the back of your legs when I are getting off it. The AC units (2) are terrible. 25C is too hot 24C is freezing. U can't angle the flaps on the mini splits (AC unit) so it blows on u with the highest power. Pillows sucked. But was clean.
