A nice walkabout at Tenjin Central Park- many nearby Malls for shopping n interesting food outlets. The canal n surrounding greenery also makes for a pleasant stroll around the area. A suggestion is to go into one of the Malls facing the canal n get a balcony seating to enjoy your meal or drinks. It’s a great way to rest up before exploring the interesting Tenjin area which has many lanes with individual shops as well as large Malls if u should wish to shop. The park is also closely situated approximately 15 minutes walk away and is a worthwhile visit.

The park is located in the city center, featuring lush greenery and beautiful lawns. I sat on a bench, watching friends play with yoyos, kick shuttlecocks, and couples chatting. I asked a Japanese father and son to take a commemorative photo for me, and they happily agreed. Japan is truly wonderful, and the Japanese people are so lovely.

Small park usually situate everywhere in Japan. This Central Park is very close to Tenjin, the core area for shopping in Fukuoka. At the time I visit , (24-28 Mar19), Sakura Full blossoms will coming in few days. In the afternoon, all area here will clowned by group of people, hang out together outdoor during Sakura is called Hanami.

Nice park to relax, but not a lot to see during the winter. The building bordering the park has a fun path to the top with 14 flights of stairs. The path goes up the buildings side where they have planted a variety of native plants. It's almost like walking through a forest and the view gets better and better after every flight.

A pretty cute night market that you should definitely visit if you’re in the area. Loads of things to do, food to eat & drinks to be had. Would definitely do a walk-through first before ordering & going for the popular options as there are a lot of similar stores!

Lovely park located in the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka, right beside the river with bridges connecting to the park. Free, accessible, can spend 30 mins to explore here. Nice cherry blossoms and benches to relax.
