Kouchan Ramen Nakasu Branch — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Been going around many places around Japan for ramen as it naturally is very amped up, many places were popular and highly recommended that didn't quite meet the expectations I had set in my mind. The signs that said 80Yen Chicken caught my eye, upon entering you order through a vending machine style in which you must put money in first, this will enable you to press the options in which you've got enough money to pay for. I ordered the fried rice, a dip that had noodles (like ramen dip) and the chicken. The fried rice came out and I haven't had fried rice that good for atleast 7 years. Later on to recall it has never been that good. By similar to East Coast Chinese food fried rice. Then came out the noodles in which you had to dip the cold noodles into the hot soy sauce broth. The texture was far superior than any other noodles I've had in Japan so far, keeping in mind I've had probably around 15-20 places in various regions. Lastly, the fried chicken was extremely tender and well seasoned, it really reminds me of a extra crispy southern fried chicken.

Tried the same brand at Kyoto before, happy to tried the original one at Hakata. Pork bone broth, honesty the smell is not very presentable, however it was very tasty!!! I loved to add the soy sauce and sesame. I ordered a fried rice and added to the soup after I finished the noodle. Love it. The staff was very polite and helpful. 친구녀석에게 하카타 돈코츠를 접해보는 기회를 주고싶어서 잇코샤를 찾아가본다. 나카스 지역이 꽤 유흥업소들이 밀집한지라 일본내에서도 유명하지만 최근에는 한국인들에게도 많이 접해 보지 못한 호객행위를 해서 놀라곤 한다. 보통 마사지는 많이 들어도 남성분들이 호객행위를 하면서 한국어로 뭐라뭐라 하는데... 내용이 참 별로였다... 조금은 눈살이 찌푸려지는 나였다... 하긴 밤 늦은 시각 그 장소에서 어슬렁 거리는 우리였으니 어쩌면 가능할지도 모르겠지만 여튼! 잇코샤 나카스 점으로 들어가본다. 네온간판이 근처 간판들과 잘 어우러진다. 다른 지점을 못가봤지만 내부는 작은 편이 였다. 다찌에 진열된 조미료들과 찬들이 깔끔하다. 녀석이 음흉하게 웃는다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 친구는 붉은 라멘을 난 검정 라멘을 주문한다.

赤ラーメン 약간은 매운맛이 감도는 라멘이지만 류키우키말대로라면 좀 느끼하고 스프를 다 마시긴 어려웠다고 한걸로 보아 돈코츠 초심자들에겐 조금은 어려울지도 라고 생각한다.

매운맛이 느끼함을 잡아주는데 그래도 베이스 스프에 돈코츠 특유의 기름진맛을 이해하기엔 조금은 힘든것일지도? 최근에 우마이도를 라멘을 최근에 접한 지인과 방문했는데 자신은 '하카타 분코' 보다 '우마이도'가 더 먹기 힘들었다고 한다. 물론 면을 다 먹었지만 스프까진 힘들다 느낌이다. 먹기 힘들다고 해서 맛이 없다는건 아니다.

黒ラーメン 내가 주문한 검정라멘!! 쿠로라멘이 좋아!! 역시 저 쿠로마유의 특유의 고소함과 알싸함이 돈코츠 스프와 궁합이 굳!! 이치란, 잇푸도, 잇코샤 등등... 돈코츠의 정점을 자부하는 많은 지점을 내논 식당들은!! 공통적으로 대중성과 로컬특유의 맛을 적절하게 배합해 놓은게 이 식당들 라멘의 특징이다!!

맛있게 완라멘을 하고 나오면서 친구에게 물어보니 케널시티에 있는 '멘야 호우텐' 라멘 스타일이 자기에게 더 끌린다고 한다. 나도 처음엔 돈코츠보단 쇼유나 시오가 더 좋았는데 지금은 비슷하게 좋아한다!!~ 참 많은 라멘 식당들이 있다 후쿠오카에는~ 특히 밤이 되면 서로 자랑하는 돈코츠 식당들이 많으니 탐험하고!! 성공하길 바란다!! 나도 좀 더 도전!!~
