Kumorebi Japanese Sake Bar — Restaurant in Fukuoka

This is an absolutely fantastic sake bar! We had an incredible time over several hours. The hostess/bartender is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and attracts a great group of patrons. The range of sake available is excellent and there were lots of interesting and unusual things to try (including, this time, a delicious aged shoju). There's no English menu, but don't let that put you off. Use your phone for visual translation of the menu; the hostess was happy to converse back and forth using the translation features of Google (which was actually a lot of fun).
