I had walked past here a few times in the past, and thought maybe it didn't have anything for me. But today, my child wanted pancakes and I remembered they have them here. This shop is on the ground floor (1/F) and was much quieter than the very busy restaurants on the main dining floor (3/F). This was a big bonus (less stress, less waiting) and we got a table immediately. I was very impressed to see some really nice and unique dishes - not too big, not too small, and not expensive.
It's very rare to see vegetarian options (for my friends) or substantial salads and this place has both. They basically do: pasta, salads, "Buddha bowls", desserts and drinks. I saw 2 vegetarian options today (a soy meat "Buddha bowl" and a pasta with tomato and cheese). I realise that doesn't sound exciting but it was refreshing.
My child had the souffle pancakes with maple syrup. I asked if they could also put chocolate sauce on the side for a fee, and they were able to do that. The waitress was very sweet.
I had a teriyaki chicken bowl, which is: rice, chicken, a red pickle/slaw, an avocado sauce, shredded dry nori and some salady bits. It was DELICIOUS and it was only 900 yen. I was also drawn to the pancetta and lentil salad (next time).
