First of all, this is a traditional sashimi restaurant. The prices for fresh seasonal fish vary depending on the time of year, but you will find them well worth the cost. The restaurant offers a wide and diverse menu. Their eel rice (unagi don) and Uzumi rice are highly recommended dishes that have been widely promoted. Uzumi rice is a traditional dish that you must try when visiting Fukuyama. The staff are very attentive and dedicated. The owner is a highly knowledgeable person and has a very engaging way of speaking. The chefs prepare the dishes very quickly, and the plating is beautifully done. The quality of the food is outstanding.

Had a great experience here. We came right when the store opened so there wasn't anyone else. The lady owner(?) was very detailed in her explanation of how to eat uzumi. For English speakers: The top layer is rice, but the bottom consists of 11 varieties of food (including some seafood).
