せせらぎの風 — Restaurant in Gifu

Lived here for three years and never realized there's a coffee shop just across the supermarket.Came in just out of plain curiosity, without looking at any reviews, but I guess I visit here on a monthly basis from now on. It's an entirely different world once you entered the shop. I like how they designed the windows so you don't actually get disturbed by the views of the parking lot out there and have a false sense that it's a garden. There's plenty of pictures about the bar so I wouldn't add them, but damn who would have thought the shop owner would directly take one of the cups from the display and make coffee with it! It's so brilliant 😂 It's a coffee shop for people to take a breathe from the hustle and bustle so don't chatter loud and spoil the atmosphere! The coffee is the best I've had compared to several other coffee shops within the area. I never thought I would like drinking blended coffee because they're always somewhat bland. Probably has to do with how the shop owner here makes the coffee one by one per order. And man, the cinnamon toast I had was so fluffy while being crunchy on the top, like is that even possible? Also balanced in sweetness! The price is also really reasonable with the amount, or should I say, both quality and quantity. And I think the owner legit just did calligraphy with a thank-you message behind the receipt. Another surprise 😂 Definitely a must-go if you stay around this area, and worth a detour even...

This is my favorite cafe in Gifu. The coffee, food and atmosphere are all superb. I usually go on Sunday mornings when I have a chance.

Typically, I will order cappuccino and cinnamon toast. Although it's not what you would expect cinnamon toast to look like. It's four pieces of very lightly toasted bread with whipped cream and cinnamon. Along with that there's usually a hard boiled egg and a small piece of cake or some other kind of sweet as a service.

There's a small selection for breakfast including an open sandwich set. Whatever you order, you won't be disappointed.

Besides the food and coffee, the atmosphere is great. It's very relaxed and it's easy to have a conversation with whoever you're with. No screaming kids or noisy people. If you're in the area it's well worth the visit.

They also have great scones in a variety of flavors so I usually get 3 or 4...

中煎りから深煎り傾向のコーヒー専門店です。（紅茶等もあります） 昔ながらのマスターによるドリップを楽しめます。

私は元々は浅煎り派で、モカなどのフルーティーさを求めてカフェを巡っていました。ですが、此方に来るようになってからは、超深煎りまで楽しむ事ができるようになり、よりコーヒーの楽しさを知ったお店です。

まず、食事に関してですが、基本的に某フランチャイズのフードとは違う完成度です。 こちらは、一品一品が料理として出てきます。（量ではなく質の話）そして、どのコーヒーと合わせても、その質が損なわれる事はありません。むしろ、このバランス感覚こそが、このお店の最大の魅力とも言えます。パン類、ケーキ類、ピザがありますので、是非コーヒーと合わせて召し上がってください。（ピザはタバスコが効いているので、単品か他のドリンクの方が食べやすいかもしれません）

肝心のコーヒーですが、おそらく岐阜の中でも、洗練さ、軽やかさ、飲み終わった後の幸福感がこれ程充実したコーヒーは希でしょう。 香りを追及されている、サードウェーブに属するカフェは岐阜にも多くありますが、それとは違うベクトルの香りです。また、飲み終わった後の感覚はそれらのコーヒーとは全く別物ですので、そちらをメインに楽しんで頂ければ良いと思います。 豆にも拘られているので、それ相応の値段になりますが、コーヒー好きなら是非行っていただきたいお店です。

（12:00~13:30間でしか食べれないメニューがあります。カツサンドやフレンチトーストは癖になりますので、ダイエット中はお控えください笑）
