鎌倉時代から続いているので「鎌倉」が付いているとのこと！その歴史感を微塵も感じさせない店内とメニューで「ん？」となったが、それは「のれん」ではなく「わらび餅が」という事だと後々検索してみて分かった。 ちなみにチャットGPTだと以下の回答です。 【日本のわらび餅は、正確な起源は不明ですが、奈良時代（710年～794年）にさかのぼるとされています。 当時、山間部などで育つわらびの根茎をすりつぶし、練って食べるという習慣があったとされています。これが、やがて餅米と一緒に練り上げることで、現代のわらび餅の原型となったとされています。 江戸時代になると、東京の葛飾区でわらび餅が作られるようになり、現代のわらび餅の形態や製法が確立されたとされています。】 とにかく古くからあるようなので、鎌倉時代からあった事にして、美味しくいただきました！ 店内から岐阜城がくっきり見えて、ロケーションは文句なし！わらび餅は口溶けがとても良く万人に好まれそうな食感でした！ 少しでも参考になった方は↓ポチッとお願いします！

I had soft serve ice cream from Kanmidokoro Kamakura while waiting for my bus across from Gifu Park. The ice cream was creamy and topped with kinako.. simple but so good. A nice little treat before heading home! 岐阜公園の向かいでバスを待っている間に、甘味処鎌倉でソフトクリームをいただきました。クリーミーなソフトクリームにきなこがかかっていて、シンプルだけどとても美味しかったです。帰り道にぴったりの小さなご褒美でした！ Late posting（投稿が遅くなりました）。Last visited in May 2025.
