Marugen Ramen — Restaurant in Gotenba

Great place for a quick ramen lunch. Kids ramen only is under ¥200 and ice cream is only ¥98!!! The kids set come with a little toy that the kids can pick. Gyōza is tasty you can get garlic or non garlic, we prefer the gyōza without garlic. They do offer 50% less carbohydrate noodles for an additional ¥80. I don't think the staff speaks English but they are very friendly. They have an English menu along with pictures to point at. When you pay you get a stamp card, 1 stamp is 1 Ramen and when it is full you get ¥500 off your bill. They also may hand you coupons for additional discounts...

Personally I don't like Ramen but went forcefully with my colleagues. I had Chyhaan with omelette and also tried some ramen and Desert as well. The access to it is very simple, just 10min by walk from gotemba station and parking space is also quite available. The serving time was also very fast. Cold Green tea were served as a drink so if you don't like green tea you must tell the staff and they will bring you a water. The choices for desert is very less so better not to expect for fancy deserts. All over it was a good experience for me.

Great late night place that offers all the comfort food you need at very affordable prices. Their ramen broths fantastic. I would def recommend their gyozas as well.

If you don’t have a huge appetite, you can skip the fried rice and Karrage, but otherwise, they’re pretty okay as side bites :)
