La Concha — Restaurant in Hakodate

Having lived and traveled around Spain and the Basque country, we were more than intrigued to find La Concha. Having admittedly low expectations, we were more than pleasantly surprised! The tapas were great (including house cured jambon) and our main courses, especially the bacalao, were delicious. The creme catalan was the only disappointment. The portion sizes are consistent with Japan but perfectly presented. They even had txakoli on the wine menu! We would definitely return on our next visit...

コロナ以降長らく休業していましたが、２０２４年１月１９日から営業再開したそうです。 本店のレストラン バスクの深谷さんオーナーとスタッフがこちらの支店を再開させて「バル・レストラン　ラ・コンチャ」としてリニューアルオープンしています。 ２０２４年９月にコース料理の食事をしましたので、その時の感想を投稿します。 「レストラン バスク」にて何度も食事をし、そちらのお店のファンとしての感想ですが、こちらのお店は「レストラン バスク」の代替となる店ではないかな、と思います。料理はおいしいのですが。 そして、函館にそれほど何度も来たことがない観光客さんが、初めて来店して、函館らしくてとてもよいお店だった、となるかどうか、微妙なところかなあと思います。函館色が薄い気がします。

今回はコース料理¥7,700(税込み）の食事をしました。 カジュアル利用でしたら「バルスタイルのピンチョスのコース　 ¥5,500～」というのもあるので、パエリア主体にしたかったらそちらもありと思います。
