Definitely a gem in Gora. Less than a five minute walk after you get off of the cable car (just walk down the nearby steps that will then walk back up). We originally walked in, were seated, then asked to go outside and wait for a seat. Turns out that we accidentally cut the other person outside waiting. The owner is very kind, and speaks a good amount of English (and even if he didn't, you should still come). My partner got the espresso tonic and I got the affogato. For the two together it was a little less than 10USD, and it was worth every penny. The espresso tonic was subtly sweet with a rich, layer of crema on top. The affogato had some amazing ice cream and a side shot of espresso you poured yourself. I would come back here in a heartbeat if it was closer to my hotel.

This cafe was a Gora highlight. The menu and space are designed with care and intention. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere warm and inviting. We tried the risotto, egg on egg open face toast, pumpkin walnut toast, tiramisu, and the bitter chocolate with whipped cream. All were decadent with delicious and nuanced texture and flavor profiles. We also tried the cafe latte, matcha, and pour over coffee - all were carefully and well-prepared. The manager cares about his craft, appreciates feedback, and overall has wonderful energy and a generous spirit. He offered local advice and took the time to talk with us. This cafe is a memorable one. Thank you for your offerings!

We stumbled across this coffee shop on a trip to Hakone and were so happy to have found it. The cafe has a very good vibe once you enter. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They are also good with English which is always a plus for tourists! The coffee tasted so amazing, we had to buy their freshly ground beans. It is fairly priced. Also, we got the tiramisu which is one of the best I have had since Europe. It had the perfect espresso to cream ratio. Highly recommend Coffee Camp for coffee enthusiasts!

I’m giving this place five stars for the wonderful service and cool space. I love the modern decor and the service was incredibly friendly, even to foreigners, which is not always a given if you don’t speak much Japanese. They were incredibly warm and welcoming. I had a delicious chai and the breakfast egg sandwich. The breakfast menu is very limited and the egg sandwich is actually egg salad which I’m not a huge fan of. But I thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Had coffee and breakfast at Coffee Camp at 8am this morning before exploring Hakone. Service was great - polite and friendly. Atmosphere was chilled - enjoyed basking in the morning sun (while it was 5c outside). Coffee was excellent (better than most Tokyo coffee), and had the open egg sandwich for breakfast which was great. Can't believe this place only has had 2 reviews to date - if you are staying in Gora, this is the perfect place to start your day.

I never thought I would be visiting Japan and would have risotto and a cafe latte for brunch and be telling you it’s one of my favorite meals over a two week trip. We’ve been here two days in a row and confirm the chicken karee, pumpkin and walnut sandwich, risotto and coffee is all exceptional and worth stopping in for. The staff is very kind and helpful. The risotto was ordered at their recommendation and I’m very thankful for it. 美味しい！
