政所園 夢京橋店 — Restaurant in Hikone

嫁、息子、嫁両親と一緒に彦根城を訪れる際にこのお店に立ち寄りました🍧

とにかく暑かった…そのため勢いのままにカキ氷を3種類頼みましたが、期待通り全て美味しかったです☺️

ムースのようなソースは、どのカキ氷も風味と甘味のバランスが良く、スプーンを持つ手が止まる事がありませんでした🍵

九州の田舎の方から来て下さったご両親が「最近のカキ氷は凄いなぁ…」と感動していました笑🧊

夏季以外も来た事がありましたが、和菓子やお茶も美味しいので、年中通してオススメできる喫茶店です☕️

また、彦根城に来た際は寄らせていただきます。

I stopped by this store when visiting Hikone Castle with my wife, son and wife's parents 🍧.

Anyway, it was hot outside... so we ordered 3 kinds of shaved ice on the spur of the moment and all were delicious as expected ☺️

The mousse-like sauce was a perfect balance of flavor and sweetness in all the shaved ice, and I couldn't stop holding my spoon 🍵.

My parents who came from the countryside in Kyushu were impressed by the "amazing shaved ice these days..." lol 🧊.

I have been here outside of the summer season and the Japanese sweets and tea are delicious, so I can recommend this tea shop all year round. ☕️

I will stop by again when I visit...

Very pleasant tea house in Hikone. They have great quality tea here and a short intriduction to tea making the Japanese way for foreigners. The store itself has a good selection of green tea, including organic caffeine free green tea that's suitable for all ages. A tea shop well...

It closes too early. And the shredded ice is only served in summer unfortunately. I loved this kakigori! The green tea flavor tasted rich and smoothie with different textures. Best...
