After we got in we realised this is a chain or a franchise but it was really good. We had ramen, fried rice, spring roll, fried chicken and as much tea and water as you would like for 8€ each. It was a bargain and it was really good. Although it is a chain the food was fresh the ramen was tasty and everything was just right. You order in a machine at the entrance, with english translation, then you are given a table and within 10 minutes they serve your food. Incredibly quick service. They have a ticket machine which has English translations. The free condiments include pickled ginger, a spicy sauce like doubanjiang, clear vinegar, soy sauce and togarashi. The noodle soups have incredible flavour and come out steaming hot. A perfect dinner after a long day of cycling! The chicken karaage pieces are large and perfectly crunchy. The gyoza skin is thin and the filling is meaty. A family restaurant and noodle shop near the Hikone station. I usually see this place with a waiting line around lunch so I went there before dinnertime instead.
