I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, The hotel looked very clean, The staff was courteous but it could help if they have even a single staff personnel who speaks or understand English language, The rooms were cleaned everyday but i guess they give you an option to not have your rooms cleaned everyday and you do actually get a rebate on price of room if you don.'t choose cleaning everyday. The Pillows were hard and i got pain in neck using them so i asked for a softer pillow but i was told only hard ones are available. The worst part was the breakfast, the variety is too limited and if you don't want to have Japanese food items then all you can eat is bread that too without butter or Jam. Breakfast is something that needs to be...
Read moreAfter 日本語で、 On December 27, I stayed at this hotel with my family, including a child, and I was deeply disappointed by the series of discrepancies between what I was told over the phone in advance and the actual service provided. Despite calling ahead to confirm arrangements due to traveling with a child, the staff’s actions failed to meet even the basic expectations I had based on our prior communication.
What made the experience even worse was the behavior of the male staff member who attended to us that night. His attitude was extremely unhelpful and dismissive, bordering on outright rude. His manner of speaking added fuel to the fire, making an already frustrating situation unbearable. We even considered leaving the hotel and finding another accommodation. However, since we had arrived late at night, we had no other viable options.
The situation took an even more unpleasant turn the next morning when we checked out. The same male staff member was at the front desk. Just seeing him instantly reignited my frustration and anger. His presence alone was enough to ruin my mood and left a lasting negative impression on our stay.
Regrettably, this experience has tainted not only my perception of the hotel but also my impression of Shiga Prefecture as a whole. While I understand this is not entirely fair, the poor service and unprofessional attitude I encountered at this hotel have left a deeply bitter aftertaste, which is both disappointing and...
Read moreThe hotel is very new, so the rooms are in very good shape. The staff is very good and helpful. Location is very good with a short walk to Hikone station. Rooms are decent size and able to slide luggage under the bed which is a good feature. However, the only thing that bothered me was the bed were extremely firm and had a difficult time...
