Trying to find a gusto without a robot. Frustrating that you apparently can't go to a gusto without having to endure the gimmick. If there was a gusto without a noisy robot, I would go there.
Unfortunately it's not worth going to a restaurant with such an irritating thing blasting repetitive music over the speakers so that customers can't ignore it. I get that they're trying to use this gimmick as branding and therefore they want to grab your attention to it, but it's a significant detractor from the actual experience of eating and talking in a restaurant. The poor corn sushi sat on the belt past us I don't know how many times (8:45s per lapse)... Individual orders came in quickly either via express JR train(!) delivery or hand delivery quickly. Read moreI love the Hamburg steak here as well as the all you can drink bar. This is a chain, what they call a family restaurant in Japan. Think Applebee's or Chili's in the US. But it's Japan so way cooler. Nowadays you order off a tablet on the table. I think it lets you order in English. Then a robot brings the food to your table. Love this feature!
