チャングム — Restaurant in Himeji

The food is good and I like the owner’s personality. She reminds me of the time I was in Korea where I ran across several ahjummas with strong and friendly personalities. The type who can pull strangers casually by the arm as she leads you to a restaurant you’ve been asking directions for. She is very honest about which items to try and not (there was this squid dish that looks really good but she discouraged us from ordering it as it may be too spicy for us foreigners). It seemed as if she runs the place on her own which can make service a bit slower than usual. I also get confused by the operating hours so I cannot come as often as I want even though it’s near my apartment. A bit pricey, but still...

こんなとこに韓国料理があったとは…まだまだこの街も知らんお店は眠ってるな🧐探索が甘いなまだ。笑
