和心 篤屋 — Restaurant in Himeji

Super lovely modern izakaya with creative twists! I went there by myself and the ne-san (staff) who served me was super kind to offer everything as one-pax serving so I won't stuff myself with just one dish and go. I got to try a couple of dishes they downsized for me and they are all really good. Especially love the salt grilled nodoguro and grilled onigiri with camembert cheese in it! Decent price as well.

One chef cooking for 20+ customers but he still came out to send me off and even apologized for not being able to chat with me (I sat by the counter) as he was really tied up. The service and the food overall are purely impressive!

創作和食のいただけるお店。 奥の掘りごたつ席が賑やかだったので居酒屋みたいな雰囲気かと思ったけど、料理は本格的。 どのメニューも薬味もたっぷりで、色んな楽しみ方が出来る！

特に面白かったのは、鱧の木の芽焼きとラッキョウの組み合わせ…これがまたラッキョウが無いと完成ではない！ってくらいマッチして、ラッキョウの新たな食べ方を知れて楽しかった〜！
