Aomori's first craft brewery with an attached tasting room boasting a selection of fine local, domestic and international craft beers. The resident chef has a fantastic menu of beer-friendly cuisine combining Western-influenced ingredients with Japanese ingenuity.

The staff are polite, professional and welcoming. If you're lucky you'll catch the owner and local television celebrity Gareth Burns, who will be happy to discuss all things beer and to share his in-depth knowledge of Aomori's sights.

The bar is non-smoking, clean and both cozy and modern in its decor. Limited parking available across the street.

Love this place! We visited several times during our two week stay in Hirosaki and every time we went the food and drinks were great, and the staff was very friendly. It's a pretty close walk from the train station too which is a bonus for travellers. 10/10 would visit again!

Update: We stopped by again during another trip to Hirosaki and the updates to the bar look great while still keeping that cozy atmosphere. The chef never ceases to amaze with the new menu items! Got to pick up a hoodie this time too from their new little...

What a fantastic place! As a Canadian travelling in Hirosaki, I was thrilled to find this brewery. I found it thanks to a billboard near my hostel, which gave the owner a good laugh! The owner is an American expat, and it was really comforting for a gaigin like me to have some English conversation! Definitely stop by if you are traveling in the area, you won't regret it!
