Rairaiken Ushita — Restaurant in Hiroshima

Nice little dine-in restaurant with a cozy atmosphere.

The first thing I experienced when I entered was the sweet, kind lady that greeted us at the door with a smile. The staff definitely are experienced with over 40 years of running this restaurant, they have great communication with customer service in mind.

There's a total of roughly 20 seats available, though you could fit a few extra on the benches. The menu is simple and fits on a single double-sided page, conveniently subdivided into categories such as noodle dishes, rice dishes, soups, sets, and so on.

Prices for food are very reasonable, ranging from ¥500 to ¥1,000 and only 4 menu items going over ¥1,000 (though nothing exceeds ¥1,500). Portion sizes are also reasonable. Perhaps a little small for foreigners like me who are used to larger sizes, but overall I can't complain. Their alcohols are good, with a small but decent variety of Nihon shu, Shochu, beers, and whiskeys.

The interior decoration is visually appealing, especially for kids. They have a large sea turtle made of petrified wood on the wall, paintings, banners, statues, and other trinkets that are fun and interesting to look at. They also have a hanging television in the corner that is usually turned to either the news or the local carp baseball team. They also have a small bin of assorted candies near the register for kids, which is very kind. Kids get one for free as they leave.

The only thing I didn't care for as far decorations are concerned was the giant mirror on the slanted ceiling of the bathroom. If you don't notice it going in, it will scare the ever loving ** out of you when you turn around... But I'm not letting that affect my rating decision. Still...

令和にこんなベタな名前の中華屋があったんや　と思って入ったが まあ　ベタベタな町の中華屋さんで、ご近所の人が御用達で食事をする店と言う感じ

店員もバリ私服のエプロン　帽子なし 厨房の話し声は丸聞こえ　ラーメン650円の昔ながらのスッキリした醤油ラーメン　蓮華なし スープはあっさりしたなかに　軽く醤油の風味を感じて美味しいが　麺はゆるゆる　チャーシューガチガチ　もやしも安っぽい

んが　評価出来るのは　この内容でありながら　不味くはなく　そういうものとしてちゃんと食べれたんすよね そこら辺はさすがの技術と言うか　値段を考えたら別段失敗したなとは思わない

やっぱ　ラーメン屋ではなく　中華屋だから別の料理と食べるべきか と　思ったが一品ものは唐揚げなどをみても1000円越え

多分　夜のディナーでお酒を飲みながら　ラーメンは食べたい人が〆で食べるのが正しく ランチは定食などがおすすめで　ラーメンはどうしてもラーメン食べたい時にって感じかな

会計時の店員の愛想はよかった

ただ「冷やし中華　冷麺」って表記西日本で...

住宅街の中にある中華料理店です。 広島のローカルTV番組で紹介されたこともあるお店で、店舗内にはサイン色紙が、多数、飾ってあります。 感染防止対策のため、飛沫防止パネルが多数置かれ、お客さんが帰られたら丁寧に消毒をされていました。 店内に入ると可愛いスタッフさんが笑顔で迎えてくれ、席に案内してくれます。 今日は、サンマーメン(税込750円)＋焼き飯セット(税込250円)をいただきました。 しょう油ベースのアッサリスープに細麺、小口切り野菜・肉がからみ、食べやすく、飽きのこない麺料理です。 セットメニューの焼き飯も、半チャンではない食べ応え十分の量で、香ばしさがある、頼んで良かったメニューでした。 量は十分、値段は満足！です。 これまで、麺料理の注文でしたが、次回は定食や丼ものをチャレンジしてみたいです。 食事中に、出前の電話が何度も入っていて、地元に好...
