Cafe&Pancake Moi — Restaurant in Ikeda

The souffle pancakes are so so fluffy and wonderful. If I was in the area again I'd absolutely go, and make whoever was with me also come along. They offer additional seasonal varieties, I had a tiramisu one and all the flavors were delightfully balanced, none of the creams felt heavy (even the ice cream). It takes ~20 min to make the pancakes, other meals come out much sooner, but the wait is SO worth it :)

It seems like a small family business, everyone was super friendly and all of the small cat-themed decorations...

The most amazing fluffy pancakes I've had in Japan (and I've tried a good couple of places)!!

I got the plain ones with butter and they were perfect... extremely soft and fluffy, not too sweet, and paired with the salted butter, everything was just melting in your mouth!

They don't have espresso for coffee, just the classic Japanese filter coffee, but the reason you should come here are the freshly made pancakes!

The atmosphere is lovely, it's run by a family who is...

和栗のパンケーキとコーヒーで2480円 自分にとって決して安くはなく迷いましたが、 最近頑張ってるからと思い切って注文しました。 Instagram見て美味しそうで、ずっと食べたかったのです。

注文後に少しお待ちいただきますがよろしいですか？と言われどれくらいか聞くと、確認してから、 そんなにはかからない　との事でした、 なら良かった〜と思いました。

ところが、なかなか来ない。他のお客様にも アイスが後から出されてたり時間が押してる様子。 メレンゲを泡立てるようか音がするたび もうすぐ来るかな　と思ったけど来ず。

トイレにでも行こうと（初来店なので） 借りたい事を伝えにいきましたが、 一切こちらを見ても貰えず、、、勝手に入りました。 （この時、自分より後に来られた方々がランチを既に食べ終わられてるのを確認） 席に戻るとコーヒーが来て、同時にお時間大丈夫ですか？と聞かれ、 え！今更、確認されても。。と、思わず少し強く言ってしまいました。 コーヒーはパンケーキと一緒にと言われてたので、 コーヒー見た瞬間、あ、やっと食べれると思ったのも。

最後、パンケーキが来た時は直々にお詫びがあり、 コーヒーも無料にしていただいたので、お店には不満も残っていないです

ただ背後の席から　パンケーキてだいたい時間かかるものだよね　話すのが聞こえ、 声を荒げてしまった自分に向けられたような気持ちにがして、傷ついてモヤモヤ。。 それで書かせていただくことにしました

自分も今までパンケーキ色々食べてきましたが、 時間がかかる場合は、いつも最初に何分程度と示してくれてました。 スフレだから必ず時間かかる　とも限らないですよね それぞれ作り方は違うはずなので。 一番は自分を弁護したいだけで書かせていただいたのですが...
