Holly’s Café - Ikeda Station — Restaurant in Ikeda

An okay taste.. small-sized drinks. The lady cashier was nice but the gentleman cashier was very cold. He simply pointed with his finger to pick up my drinks by my self. He gives a small nod to elderly customers and seemed polite.. but doesn't not respond kindly to my husband nor any other male customers who are in the 20-40s. Not friendly to foreginers who only speak English.. He didn't respond when my husband said thank you multiple times, but when an old grandpa came.. he bowed 90 degrees and said thank you in Japanese.. Also, the cafe smells cigarettes as there is a small smoking room inside. I had to sit by the door. Not a friendly environment for kids.. Very crowded, Loud and noisy atmosphere.. not good...

This place is lovely. We came here after our visit to the Cup Noodle Musuem (29 Nov 2023), it was cold outside and the cafe was warm. My older boy just wanted a chocolate parfait. My younger boy who was hungry had spaghetti. My hubby had the toast with coffee, while I had a small biscuit snack with matcha latte.
