We were a group of around forty people with many small children with a reservation made well in advance. They tried to squeeze 20 people into a table intended for 8-10 people. Over 20 kids had to share two tables that were for four adults each. The smiley staff completely ignored our request for more tables. Only when the unhappy people in our group started to leave because there was just no place to sit, they offered another small table for four adults, which helped a little bit but not much. They also poured a cocktail over a guest's pants, not intentionally, but it only shows how unprofessional this place was that night. The food for the adults was ok. The food for the kids was an embarrassment. Low quality and too little. Overall a bad experience.

Read moreMy wife and I rode the Shimanami Kaido and were looking for some food. We wandered in and found this restaurant to be delightful. Maybe it's not the super high end of food, but it was quite good for Westerners experiencing normal Japanese life. The staff were helpful and we loved sampling good normal food. I will be looking for additional outlets in other parts of Japan, as we are moving...
