Authentic traditional omakase/sushi restaurant run by a chef couple for 30+ years. The real deal of fresh seafood served with warmth and style. We had the Chef’s Choice Set at 6000JPY each - my partner had 2 Barley Shochu on ice, I had a jug of cold very dry Nihonshu (Sake). Two appetizers and 5 main dishes - the last a sushi plate. Then a fresh Nashi desert. Too much food really but delicious and presented all cooking styles (fresh, boiled and deep fried). See images. If you are in Imabari for dinner and want a pre-over-tourism Japanese seafood meal served with heartfelt honesty then this restaurant is for you. I have lived in Japan 34 years so know what is real.

I had the most personal dining experience getting lucky to dine here in a less crowded evening. Chef Kubota-San and his lovely wife made a memorable evening with some amazing sushi and tempura. We had great conversations. Kubota-San speaks great English and his culinary talent is an art form. The place is a bit hard to find at night.
