Staying at Mr. Miyashita’s inn in Ine was nothing short of extraordinary — a truly once-in-a-lifetime, heartwarming experience. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond as a host. He personally greeted me at the bus stop, conveniently located right at the inn’s doorstep, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.

When it rained the next morning and I had to cancel my bike rental, Mr. Miyashita kindly lent me his own bicycle, free of charge — a gesture that perfectly encapsulated his generous and caring nature.

The accommodations themselves were impeccably maintained, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts, including cozy beds and season-appropriate heating or air conditioning. The bath was an unexpected highlight — incredibly high-tech and utterly fascinating.

The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that felt like a retreat from the world. And the meals? Unforgettable. Mr. Miyashita himself prepared and cooked each dish, delivering exquisite, home-cooked meals that were both comforting and delicious.

Thank you, Mr. Miyashita, for making my stay so special. Your warmth, generosity, and attention to detail made this an experience I will cherish forever. Wishing you and your family good health and continued success in your...

This was probably one of the best places I've ever stayed in in Japan, and I've been to many!

  1. Let's talk about the host, Miyashita-san. So gracious, so attentive, so helpful. He's so cheerful too. He looked out for our bus and was right at the bus stop waiting even though we didn't tell him when we were arriving.

When we arrived he orientated us immediately and helpfully. Throughout the dinner he was there, serving us seconds and asking us questions, making sure we were comfortable. He really endeared himself to us.

  1. The food was amazing. Crab and crab and more crab. The shabu filled us to the brim. Everything was freshly made and thoughtfully prepared. Miyashita-san really stayed with us throughout and was the most gracious host. I loved the sashimi. So fresh!

  2. The place is spotless. The ocean view was second to none. I love everything here. It would also have been different without...

I had a really great time staying here! Mr. Miyashita is very attentive, cheerful and overall is a very good host! He helped me plan what time to take the bus, called the visitor center to arrange the bike rental, took me visit Ine Park, arranged the private funaya boat tour, explained to me about Ine and what to see around here very thoroughly. Had a great time talking to him, he even tried to talk to me in my native language. The breakfast Mr. Miyashita and his mum prepared for me was very good, it was a homey food that reminds you of home when you’re away. They really took care of me during my stay. Definitely will be back next time and recommend this place to family...
