Definitely an underrated spot. Unique in its own way that boat houses, still occupied til today, line the inlet, forming a scenic landscape 🌆 which is not common nowadays.
This explains why bus loads of tourists still pour in here to take photos, marvel at the view, take a boat 🚢 cruise or simply feed the seagulls (don't think 🤔 it's a good idea though).
If you self drive, park at one of the several carparks along the coastal trail and walk through the streets to admire the architecture of the Boathouses. Boathouses are still in excellent condition and are occupied, so it's a good idea not to be too intrusive with the photography. Some have been refurbished as cafes, eateries or souvenir shops, so there's still a chance to drop in and browse.
