石垣ダイニングレストラン有頂天 — Restaurant in Ishigaki

Really good happy hour (from open until 7 pm), only ¥190 for Highballs, Lemon Sours , and low-malt beer; ¥390 for Orion draft. Food specials as well; basically half off 4 types of dumplings (including pan-fried gyoza [¥195 for 5] and soup dumplings/Xiao long bao[¥245 for 4]), so a pretty decent deal. Unfortunately only a couple of tables overlook the harbor, but for the price I think that's alright. Even their non-happy hour prices seem pretty competitive for the area, so that's a win. The Xiao long bao weren't quite as delicate as din tai Fung, but were still delicious. The gyoza were also quite tasty. The drinks aren't all that strong, but they put a measured 35ml of spirit in them, so it's not really that they're skimping you, more just a taste preference.

Edit: dinged a star because at the end of the night (or really happy hour at 7pm) they ended up charging me 2 extra drinks. I was definitely keeping track on my phone of the price, and the first receipt they showed me was exactly on par with my number- ¥2920. She then tried to explain that this was only food, which makes no sense. She then showed me two other receipts one for like ¥790 and one for like ¥830, which could not have added to my bill to make the final ¥3035/3338 they charged me. Everytime you order they enter it into a system, so I find it hard to believe they ended up with 3 receipts (which don't add up to the amount they charged) for the same table. Either way, still decent. I definitely hate being charged extra drinks, but maybe it was my fault. Either way, even with maybe 10% extra drinks charges it seemed cheap for what I've seen...
