石垣島THE SHAKE — Restaurant in Ishigaki

Strolled upon this storefront walking around the 730/E Mall area—which is near the Island Ferry terminal. As this was my first visit I asked the cashier what is her recommendation and she suggested the mixed option (¥650). In this pack you get minis and regular sized donuts holes. Wandering around the area and stumbled on this place. We tried the mango and beni-imo shake. The were both so good and have pieces of fruit/potato respectively. The shake was thick but not too thick, perfect for the hot and humid days of the area. Def a place to visit and cool down. They do have seating around the sides of the stand. I don’t understand why businesses submit opening hours on Google maps if they’re not going to open at all. I was in Ishigaki this week near this area and checked several times during its listed opening hours and they had no signs of being open. It’s a shame, as this area is popular for tourists and this space could be used by a business that actually wants to open and sell their products....
