Terrible customer service. Made online reservation. Owner (guessing of European descent, but irrelevant) was very cranky when we arrived.
Then told to leave because no children under 5 years allowed.(which wasn't mentioned during our online reservation)
So they sent a highly PREGNANT LADY and a 1 year old child AWAY in the cold rain!!! (Restaurant was empty by the way)
Very rude to surrounding customers also. Most of whom just ended up leaving. 10 of us in total left on the spot. Including our family of 4+1
I hope he will just shut down soon as it gives a very poor name to the Japanese community. Sad.

We din know what to order, so restaurant owner recommended the Rump steak n the Kalbi steak. Both were so delicious! Rice, soup n iced water were self-service.
Dun understand why there are comments here that the restaurant owner was unfriendly. Talkative but a friendly guy from Germany, who is also the chef n waiter n he mans the accessories stall in the restaurant.
Restaurant was quite wheelchair friendly, other than the 2 steps before getting into it. Other restaurants were too small for wheelchair users to get in.

Sous vide is an amazing way to process this Ishigaki wagyu, which the owner procures from an exclusive source on a limited basis (or so he claims). The cooking method renders the marbled fat into beautiful gelatinous strains, bursting with flavour at every bite.
Apparently the neighborhood cats all think so too. They will convene here every night to entertain guests but also mostly to be fed by the restaurant's German owner, an old gentleman with quite a life...
