We had such a great evening here! We enjoyed some of the best Japanese whisky — I had a Whisky Sour and my girlfriend had a Japanese whisky on the rocks. The owner was amazing, sharing stories about the different whiskies and creating such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. The soul music playing in the background was absolutely perfect! We even had a great chat about soul music — he put on one of his favorite artists, Maze, and recommended a couple of fantastic Japanese soul artists too. Thanks for the lovely evening and the great vibes!

Brilliant place for great Japanese whiskey. Owned and operated by the same family since the 1950's. you'd never find it from the outside, but go up a flight of stairs and you'll discover a real speak-easy looking gem with just half a dozen stools and maybe two or three booths. The wife of the owner, now in her 90's still 'works' there while her son, in his 60's mans the bar...
