kiwaminiku Nice ! Toro — Restaurant in Kagoshima

It was my first time to try not only this restaurant but any of the shops in this underground “yataimura”.

The dishes I tried were very delicious and the flavors were very pronounced. The “Wakuwaku dashimaki” was particularly enjoyable as the dish preparation is finished at table side so you can watch as the cook pours the boiling dashi soup onto the Japanese omelette. It was a fun little show.

Since it was my first time I tried mostly items listed as popular and they didn’t disappoint. There’s no English menu and no pictures on the main menu so you may want to use a translation app if necessary. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even using a translation app to explain the table side preparation for the above mentioned dish.

Friendly staff and legit good food. The miso soup is impressive. The meat is of course fantastic, the sauce is slightly sour from the lemon, and it taste amazing when washed down with miso soup.
