I originally planned to visit a popular restaurant, but the long line led me to explore further and discover this Spanish restaurant run by a couple. The interior is thoughtfully decorated, featuring fine tableware and a variety of wines.
When ordering, the hostess brought the menu along with a small blackboard displaying the daily specials. Do note that the menu is only available in Japanese (and there’s a heavy use of katakana) which makes it even more challenging to read if, like me, your Japanese isn’t very good.
I ordered a mussel appetizer, which was seasoned beautifully. The main course was lamb chops, prepared to expectations. And the cream cheese ice cream was truly unique. It had a rich cream cheese flavor without being overly sweet or heavy. I also ordered an “orange” wine, which I don’t have a photo of but is pretty good.
