We were looking for a restaurant after visiting the Hokokuji temple. We happened to see this small coffee shop near the bus station. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. Unfortunately I can only speak a little Japanese but the good woman in the restaurant even provided us with an English menu. We ordered spaghetti and even got a small glass of spirits with it. The food was fantastic I hadn't eaten so well in a long time. I can highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you are visiting the Hokokuji temple.😁

Restauracja w stylu zachodnim, prowadzona przez starsze małżeństwo, oferuje stosunkowo niewielki wybór, głównie, włoskich potraw. My wzięliśmy dwa curry (jedno z owocami morza i drugie z grzybami - zdjęcia z żółtym ryżem i brązowym sosem) i jedno risotto z owocami morza. Oba dania bardzo dopracowane i smaczne (curry dość pikantne, szczerze mówiąc). Porcje również spore. Do picia dostaliśmy wodę (niejako na koszt firmy) i po kieliszku jakiegoś wytrawnego wina na spróbowanie (różowy kieliszek) a zamówiliśmy herbaty mrożone (trzeba powiedzieć czy się chce na słodko czy nie). Generalnie polecam, a że po drodze do Houkokuji to jeszcze przyjemniej. Trochę technicznego info: lokal klimatyzowany, dobrze przewietrzony, ale nie zimny. Niezobowiązująca atmosfera. Jedzenie trochę droższe niż w standardowej knajpie z ramen.

You must visit this cute place. I stopped by on my way back from the bamboo forest. They offer a set menu which includes one main course, a drink and a cake.
