Cosmo — Restaurant in Kamakura

I had been struggling to find vegan food in Japan that wasn’t greasy noodles with cabbage. I was delighted to find Cosmo Kitchen with such a variety of vegetables & everything was wholesome & delicious. The lady does lots of fermenting & the lemon & ginger drink was also a hit, I highly recommend. The service was excellent & she served 4 of us at 3pm when according to the sign outside, food service was over. I was very interested in some of her ideas & she happily shared her fermenting recipes with me....

This place is such a gem and I would highly recommend it. The ladies are extremely kind and caring, you will feel so welcome here. They take great care in their work and it results in delicious and healthy food. They were so accommodating of my vegetarian diet and prepared a special meal for me.
