We popped in here as we had just finished the Sagano sightseeing train and wanted some lunch before heading back to Kyoto. We came upon this place and through translation explained we were vegetarian. They amazingly explained what foods they might be able to do and made a gorgeous stir-fry and mapo tofu for us despite it not being their usual recipe so as to make it vegetarian. It was AMAZING.
