Absolutely incredible experience. The meal and hospitality cannot be matched by any other busy highly rated restaurant. The food is so fresh, and so simple but so intense in flavour. We ordered the spring set menu for 2. It filled us up quite well and had plenty of variety. To top off this experience, the restaurant was run by 2 experienced chefs that were grandma and grandpa, they treated you like family and you don't leave the place without a smile. This is true Japanese hospitality that you won't get from the busy areas of Kyoto. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

オーナーとは、50年以上のお付き合いで、京都嵐山に有る、大河内山荘の元料理長をしておられたから腕は確かです。久し振りに頂いたお料理でしたが、相変わらず旨いの一言では収まりません❗ JR嵯峨野線　馬堀駅徒歩2分です。私は伊賀から約2時間掛けても、また行きたい元同僚のお店です。 一度は行く価値有りです。 旨すぎて、料理写真撮るの忘れてました😭
