サケとウメベツイン/ICHIUME(一梅) — Restaurant in Kanazawa

ICHIUME is one of my favorite spots when visiting Kanazawa! Nestled in the quiet area near Kanazawa station, on the Betsuin walking street, about 7-9 min walk, for a relatively small space it boasts a wide collection of liquor including some of the rarest (and expensive) sake’s (nihonshu) and foreigners’ favorites like tequila, vodka, gin and whisky.

If you are a fan of pickled plums (umeboshi) like me, the ume can be prepared in various ways here. You can order it on its own, in your drinks, and as they’re selected snacks. I ordered apple pickled plum which was sour yet sweet, a perfect combination of ume if you enjoy ume in your rice or onigiri, you can buy in bulk as takeout. Highly recommend to try the ume tasting as each flavor is served with sea weed (nori) 😍 I want to bring some home and add to my gin every time now like the one mixed into my drink in my video 🤗 The snacks were bite size and more new items added but I was already full. The cucumber dish I ordered is coated with ume, another perfect marriage of 2 of my favorites😍😍

The owner is super cute and I’ve been here twice now all staff are good looking lol so if you aren’t shy, they are a great company! They have returning customers from all over the world including myself of course.

They now have shisha (hookah)!! I tried the banana flavor🍌

此花通りにある梅干し専門の居酒屋です。 店内は6席のカウンターのみ。 引出しに箸やコースター等が入ってます。 駐車場はありませんが、目の前にコインパーキングあります。

土日は梅干しバーガーのみのテイクアウトしてます。

変わり種の梅干しや、梅干し料理があり、 全体的に梅干しの心地良い酸味で、 油物とかも美味しく頂けました。 価格帯もまだプレオープンのため分かりませんが かなりのリーズナブルになりそうです。

0次会や、呑みの後半利用など、 梅干し好きなのですごく良かったです。
