Inasa — Restaurant in Kanazawa

After researching for a cozy natural wine bar with great food, Inasa came up on the map and I’m so glad we stumbled in. We didn’t have a reservation and we sat at the bar as the friendly chef prepared the most thoughtful food right in front of us. He sourced his organic veggies from his farm and I love the simplicity in his work. The dishes were Chinese inspired and everything we wanted. He didn’t speak English but thank god for technology because we were able to chat through translation apps. The wine pairing and natural gin were a cherry on top. This was a special meal and we hope one day we’ll be able to visit this intimate restaurant again!...

The best food experience we had in Japan! 10 seats only, and each of our courses was handmade right in front of us. Chef is a master of his craft, slicing sushimi and hand rolling spring rolls and dumplings to order. Wine list is varied and super interesting. Attention to detail is meticulous from the interiors to the menu. Very reasonably priced too, with dishes ranging from $6 (Aus) - $12. Can’t wait to return next time we are...
