Mystery Cafe Nazoya coffee shop — Restaurant in Kanazawa

This cafe was in my opinion really disappointing. My boyfriend ordered a cafe (¥490) and we shared a slice of apple pie (¥440) We saw on the menu that a formula was available : if you order a slice of cake and any drink, the cake will cost you ¥390 instead of ¥440 But when we paid we were told that we couldn’t have this formula just because we shared the apple pie, and the formula is for one person. (It’s not written on the menu)

I think it was kind of ridiculous even if it was only ¥50

Moreover, the cafe was so-so and the apple pie was really bad (as if it was a cheap frozen product)

I’m glad we found an other place later to have breakfast.

I wouldn’t recommend this place even if the owner...

Interesting name and concept cafe. Didn't get to try the puzzle that others were saying as I was only getting a takeaway coffee. But i love the aroma of the beans and was actually so tempted to get them. More locals here as compared to the other highly reveiwed cafe. There's round table for 2s and groups, as well as counter seatings. Staff were prompt and attentive, immediately spoke English with me. Would love to sit and enjoy the afternoon if...

Great food to grab for breakfast-extra kudos for them opening up early. Very friendly staff as usual over here in Japan, the western breakfast was very fulfilling. They also have a good amount of extravagant ice cream available here.

I suspect that they have some sort of mystery theme game here at the cafe (from the variety of mystery books on the shelves and paper slips), would like to return...
