The place is very small. But luckily I was by myself and when I arrived, everyone else was leaving. Menu was only in Japanese but I'm used to that having traveled multiple cities in Japan outside of Tokyo.
The menu headings are in English (main dish, a la carte, beer, cocktail, etc. also, there is an additional menu with pictures of the side dishes if you want to just point. The pictures were quite small so I still needed to rely on taking a picture and translating to English.
After taking my time to pick something, I went with the eggplant penne pasta. Even for a single person, it took a little while for the pasta to come out, but it was worth the wait. It was delicious. Before the pasta I just chilled and enjoyed my shochu.
The single person working there didn't speak that much English but if you know some basic Japanese words for dining you will be good.
Great experience and I would go back if I stay in the same hotel,...

It turned out, the omurice took 30 mins and the pasta took around 40. Luckily the food was good or it would have been such a waste of time. There were only one chef and one helper though so we should have known and I’ll out the blame partly...

Nothing to recommend it. I was there on a weekend evening, hardly anybody there. However my other 5 meals in kanazawa were fantastic, happy with the...
