Spice Stand SEISHUN — Restaurant in Kanazawa

Please try this restaurant !!! Amazing!! I have dietary restrictions and I’ve found it difficult to be able to eat on my trip through japan. Google reviews mentioned this place might accomodate for vegetarians and so, after having an unfortunate experience at a restaurant nearby we tried this spot as a second option. This restaurant has a japanese only menu (with pictures) - which can be tricky for an english (only) speaker. Thank you so much to the gentleman and staff who served me and my mum tonight. I cannot stress enough how amazing this dinner was. So friendly, so kind, so accomodating and so tasty (as well as easy to get to) using translate on our phones, we managed to order dinner and drinks (sorry we made this so hard). I knew our meal would be fantastic from the moment we could smell it cooking, it was delicious. I really cannot thank you again for such a wonderful experience ; I wish I was staying another night so i could come back and I hope this restaurant is open the next time I visit Japan. From the service to the food, this place is amazing! Kame is the BEST and is the reason we came back to this place, we stopped by for beers a couple of days ago and had such a great experience and wanted to come back and see her for dinner. We had the Seishun Curry which is three types of different curries with cheese and an egg, the menu stated it was for first timers and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back here for dinner soon.

What a delicious meal! We highly recommend coming to Spice Stand SEISHUN for a quick and delicious meal.

We ordered the special curry option which includes all 3 curries, a spiced egg and cheese.

The plate was expertly prepared right in front of us and delicately garnished and finished with a blow torch to melt the cheese.

It was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating until the plate was empty!
